What do you people think of the honda CRX (second Gen)
What the......First you post LS1 mods and now you have the audacity to ask about a CRX? There cannot be a worse car than that besides a Pontiac Aztec...just ask Smokey about that. :doh: Lets keep the talk to Vipers and BAD ASS cars like the Enzo ok? :bonk:
nothing wrong with that question....it is the garage section. i dont care for the CRX honestly. i dont like the chopped off back end. now, if you are going for the fast and the furious appeal, you have it nailed! throw a ps2 in there, some "NOS," and you are set. is that what car you have? kinda cool to see what everybody drives ......
Actually im geting one next year,A second Gen.I wont to paint it viper yellow(love yellow).And change all body panels to carbon fiber and drop a B16A in it.Once you drop in that motor your almost doing 13 sec's 1/4.Not bad eh.Well i guess you could say since im too poor to own a Viper,That will be my viper untill ONE DAY i get one (i hope) Oh i dont like Riceness so i hope people on the road will Respect it,If you no what i mean. Sidebar: I always loved the CRX. I thought it looked great, it got something like 50 miles per gallon, and I liked how you looked throught the squared off body panel on the back of the car. They got rid of it for what, the ill-fated, more expensive Del Sol?

I bought my son a pimped out 88 CRX (800 watt stereo system, DVD, Playstations
etc.) and we have had a ball with the car. It has an SI 1.6 L with a Jackson Racing Supercharger. The car dynoed over 180 HP and will flat haul ass. We were trying to club race the car and ran up against its only real weak point. The brakes SUCK for track use. Over all though the car has 190K miles and is
still running strong! Just as a point of reference, I own a 97 GTS that I club race along with a 2003 SRT 10 and a 2003 SRT 4.
Not a viper, but then again it didn't cost as much as a Viper.
The CRX is a good car. They can outrun a viper if they are built right. I have a friend who has one that runs low 10's. I never tried to race him. My car mostly stock.
