Amazing how things have changed ,as the CRX was a killer track car ( autocross or road-race ). I always enjoyed the handling and it was a strong contender due to it's light weight and low center of gravity. They still do well in the IT classes in SCCA and in this vein I really enjoy the car. It has now become a cult favorite for drag racing, but I would prefer it for a daily driver or a track car. Plus it should get decent mileage, and you can use your savings to bankroll the Viper in your future.

I think the CRX is a great all around car. Has great potential. I do know of some running 10s on the street, and they're in the 8s running FWD drivetrains on the track. I wouldnt trade my Viper for one, but you have to respect other great cars for what they are.
