I would be a hot s.o.b. I cant believe they give you options on control and then tell you not to turn it off. Didnt like the looks of the car anyway but I sure wouldnt get one now.
Warranties are not there to cover parts the break due to abuse. If this guy was abusing the car by operating outside design parameters, then too bad. Suck it up. With the advent of black box type monitoring, the days of modding, racing, breaking parts, replacing the stock parts and bringing the car in for warranty repair are over. I can't really blame automakers for wanting to reduce the number of warranty claims due to abuse.
Wow.....it's a fucking automatic....if it can't take that then WTF did they allow that option to be on there...Feel sorry for eveyone who purchased that car because I bet without that ability it wouldn't crack the 11s.....if that is the case then I would want an option in its place for a hot japanese girl that pops out and gives me a blow job anytime....

I would agree if the guy drove down the highway for 50 miles in reverse at top speeds or decided to jump the grand canyon but when they build cars and they know the option is there and promote the car as being capable of running 11s then people should have the ability to use it if not then they should have not been promoting the quarter mile times and 0 to 60 with using that option...

The bs part of the story is that Nissan put a button on the car to make it faster and then voids the warranty if you use it? They should have made it an option....but they didn't. Imagine Dodge saying that if you use 1st gear, your warranty is void. The performance numbers the car was able to make for the mags were only obtained using methods that would void the warranty but Nissan didn't say shit............ with rice!
Isn't Ron your car's nanny? Ya gotta get on the track with it. You live so close to Willow!
Yes, Ron is the nanny. When he is in it, the car drives nice and slow.
I know, I know. I really do want to get it back on the track, but I am dealing with too much work right now. I'm on the way to the office right now.
KW suspensions is picking my ACR up next week. They are going to detail it and use it in a photoshoot, and then they will be taking it to Sema. They said they would lower it and set it all up for me as well. At least I will have a nice picture of it with a half naked girlie.

That's simply amazing. So much coin for a car and the warranty was voided. I see both sides in the matter but you would think that the tranny would have held up in a so called "supercar". A wise man once said "Never buy a first year model car until the bugs have been worked out."
