I saw a friend of mine today who said he had a brief and futile run through a couple gears with a Vette that had an M plate on it against his '72 BB convert...
They pulled over afterwards and the guy popped the hood showing off the TTs etc. He said it was in development out of the Milford Proving Grounds. (I retired from there 10yrs ago)
That's all I know..
I caught up with my friend at a large cruise that happens each Sunday just East of the MPG. A new ZR-1 did come through while we were talking..
I sure hope Dodge gets the green light for the two TT-V10's (that are 8.4L) Rumor has it one is rated for just over 1,000hp.
While gas prices are up. Sales of exotics and sports cars are still about the same.
Getting a 1000HP from a Viper is easier then ordering a pizza with todays TT systems. Remember the mid engine Viper DC put whipped up in 95? The only thing is to be able to make it daily driver reliable which is not too easy at those HP levels without serious changes to the rest of the car or make the power adjustable with AEM units installed on the car.

factory PCMS are MUCH MORE advanced then AEM could dream to be...

A plate that manufacturers stick on cars when they want to take them out on public roads.. with an M placed in the center of the few other num bers/letters on the plate. I think there's some sort of 'maufacturer' notation at the bottom of the plate too.
