I got about a minute into that video but shut it off before the Pinto raced the Pacer. What's next, Memphis mower races?

so its like the garret GT3582 knock off? wait i see. they ported a compressor cover and thought it was magic... i call BS. only way to increasee spool on a turbo is exhaust side, or LIGHTER compressor side....

it's a billet aluminum wheel, the edges aren't straight cut like a normal turbo, they have a shape like an aircraft wing. They tried the technique on some smaller frame turbos like the 20G but it didn't seem to make a difference. The 35R with the HTA treatment did spool several hundred RPM sooner than the vanilla 35R, not a huge deal for a car that can spin to 8500 on the stock valvetrain or a drag racer that's never going to see under 6000rpm anyway.

Hey- the Pacer is a classic muscle car at its best. Most people were just scared of the raw power and its macho image.

Wow, that is really bright, driving 170 mph on public roads while trying to operate a camera. Every clip was prefaced with some note about, "Oh, I screwed up the shift because I was fuckign with the camera" or "I fucked up the camera because I was shifting" or something like that. Obviously with nothing jumping out in front of you, you are over your head and can't handle driving 100+ mph on public roads while operating a camera. Use a little sense.
