Rocman I appreciate your opinoin but but 85K for this camaro you are crazy. You couldn't come close to building a car like this at that price. If you build hot rods for a living as I do you might understand the amount of time that goes into these. I think most of your points apply to the restoration/stock 69 camaro's. Though I do agree it takes the right buyer it takes someone who understands and appreciates the car, not a guy looking for a killer deal on a hot rod . This no average joe 69. It is x44 code true v8 car "One owner". It is not everyday you run into a kenne bell forged Ls7 427 that makes 800hp. Look no reason for me to keep defending the price it is where it is and where the current market is and in my opinion right in the middle. If you would have taken 2 mins to look at the other auctions and seen where other cars in other auctions go for you would see that . If you like and want it just call otherwise I guess it is not for you.

Thanks

Taylor

So just because you put "way" more than that into it means you should get that back out? I paid $55K for my 99 ACR just a short while back and since I bought it I have put almost $10k into it. Anyone want to pay $65k for it? I didn't think so. I never said any of those Camaros were worthless, just not worth that much. It seems to be a beautifull car price not being an issue.

I just looked at the other auctions and I am shocked to see these cars with these asking prices. I would say your car is just as nice as any of those. Just because they are asking for these prices, does not mean they sell at these prices. That does not mean you can't find the right buyer, but I do not know anyone that would buy any of those cars anywhere near those prices. Most people I know that spend that kind of coin on a car like this, like to have it built to their spec. But hey, there is a buyer for everything. Again, good luck with the sale.

tri-look viper world and hot rod world are two different worlds. apples to oranges.

I agree a lot of guys who spend big money on cars go for the ground up build. And build it to their exact specs. At least most do.

Thank you for your opinion though

You are right, it is apples to oranges. The fact that you can't always get what you put in out of them still applies.

SW's cars are super clean , I was up there with Getbit a few weeks ago and his black Camaro is flawless. These are worth what you can sell them for , no more and no less.

A Ford GT seems cheap & a better "investment" in comparison.

Gorgeous Camaro for sure. I would love to own it.

However, to pull that kinda coin without having a name like Foose or Stielow attached to it is going to be tough. Probably doable for the right buyer, but it'll likey take a much loger time to find that person.

I would think if there are a lot of them for sale, that are similar, that isn't good?

Then again, I'm a full blown mopar guy and we hardly ever see anything like this in the mopar world.
