New Corvette ZR1 Tops Out at 205 MPH - Video

Looks pretty fast. I am happy to say there is no audible supercharger noise. I also had to take note that its 100-150 time was about 10 seconds (granted a punch is not as fast as accelerating through 100) and an 08 Viper is 9.4 seconds, so they seem fairly similar.

I figured performance would be similar, maybe slight edge in straight line for the Z, but on road course....Viper will own. ZR1 does nothing for me though, looks to busy and cluttered, and 100k+ (markups) for a Vette....no way, I would take a ZO6 anyday over the ZR1 and have fun with some n/a mods.

Exactly, I jus like the looks of my C6Z over the "Ricey" stuck together ZR1. Car has its tongue hang'n out w/a S/C to get up there..Viper at N/A is right in the ball park..slight mods on the BIG CUBED V10 and ZR1 in a (straight line too) is on the trailer. Always go w/the C.I.
Thanks for sharing.

It's obvious that inlet air temps aren't crazy as full throttle for that long would rise fast. Impressive but will take a regular 08 let alone a ACR over it anyday.
