Took some pictures of some things with my Nikon D300.
Just got my Nikon D300. Very happy with this camera. I got quite a bit of stuff. 4 lenses, D300 Body, filters, 5 year extended warranty, aluminum case, extra battery..etc. Here's a few smaples of pics of cars I been working on. (Got it all for about $2400.00 brand new). The pictures have been reduced so the quailty/resolution is down, but it does shoot amazing pictures and the clarity ia awesome at full resolutions! Speed shooting it out of this world. 6-8 frames per second and that is in raw or tiff format.

I just bought a D80 and have no idea, wtf I'm doing haha. I can shoot during the day, totally lost at night. Everything I'm shooting is moving, here is an example from sunday:
Nice pictures. I was looking at new cameras today online. I am leaning towards the Cannon EOS 40D. It would be a big jump for me in cameras and yet it has all the features I want. It has a 6.5fps and you I think your Nikon might be a tad quicker. Did you look at any other cameras? I am curious why you setlled on this one since I am itching for a new one.
Awesome. I'm a Nikon shooter, but am in the process of making the switch to the Canon EOS 5D. I've looked at the D300 and it really seems to be a very nice camera. I want to go to a Full-Frame sensor and Nikon doesn't seem to want to make that move on anything that's remotely affordable.
Somebody said something about seeing the beast under the cover???? That should definitely be your next subject!
Are the pics photoshopped also, or did you just take the pics and post them??
None of the pictures are photoshopped. All straight from the camera reduced in size with MS paint which took away from the original quality.
As far as the comparison, The canon and the Nikon are both very nice cameras. For the price I got mine at compared to the canons and what I got, Nikon was the better choice. When you hit the D300 or D3 category of cameras, they are both very good. Do a search on youtube and you can see it for yourself.
After looking at those Ferrari's it really makes me wish they would return to their old exotic proportions...I would love to see a modern day test for around $300k
