there were 318 cudas do some research just google it....
I don't claim to be an expert on E-bodies, but I believe that Barracudas with the high performance 340, 383 4bbl, 426, & 440 ( and later 360 4bbl?) were named 'Cuda. Those with the 225, 318, & 383 2 bbl went by the full name, Barracuda.

will see what i can find out. as it turns out (small world) the guy that i bought it from, in turn bought it from the original owner who is actually related to a soon to be sister in law of mine!!!
so the guys still around an kicking so i'm in the process of getting some original car pics before it was parked in '86 plus he thinks he has somewhere the original build sheet!
that plus the fact the VIN from the car/title decodes to a 318 should solve this once and for all.

318 does have Barracuda on the side where the larger engines have Cuda on the side.....Same body same everything just didn't have the name cuda.....
