Shit DOES happen. Sad story to say the least. Best of luck with your full recovery! Took some balls to publicly claim the accident.

I am pondering this too..?

Sorry to hear about the wreck. Glad to hear you are ok.

On another note, I have a feeling more of these are going to happen. I feel a lot of people buy cars based on what the magazines say and praise, and this time around the 08 viper is one of the radical cars to get.
The general public is learning that the Z06 and now ZR1, are just tuned cars from the factory, and that they essentially look like a regular C6. So basically we get people who are normally porsche, vette, aston, ferrari, lambo, etc. drivers into the seat of a viper....and let's say many underestimate the torque and the ability of the car to lose control with a careless mistake......

Elvis, did the insurance offer you a buy back for the car in case you wanted to buy it?, if so how much were they asking for?.

Thanks for the support guys, Dr app tomorrow to determine if i need surgery. Whats messed up sitting here for 4 days with a floating collerbone while i schedule an app.
Yeah, I broke my collar bone before it feels very strange to have the two ends of the bones keep touching each other...then one day magically it grabs and stays together. I still have a huge bump on my collar bone area.

BTW it is embarrassing to crash a car...don't feel bad or even feel like you need to respond to the newbie comments. Have you seen pro drivers make mistakes and smash into the wall....it happens. Just hopefully not that often to us on the main roads. Hope you heal well and quickly.
