"Counatch" isn't that a quote that the Fiero guys use....Looks to be a real nice lamborghini...great deal I would avoid the maintenance issues considering how much it cost to just service it....But nice though

I think everyone wanted that car at one point and time. I still like the design but that interior and dashboard has to go! I think it would be sick to modernize one, blown v8 or a TT viper motor, 20 Iforged, and new interior. Who didn't have a picture of that car somewhere in the house growing up.

Growing up, I had a 6 foot poster of a red countach. Loved it. Cool cars but i'll probably end up doing a diablo or murcie when I go the lambo route. Good luck selling though.

engine redone for 26K!!! holy fuck. I would have brought that shit to AB for the tear down and rebuild.

Thanks guys - that bill actually included a lot of things like the clutch, rear springs, interior redye, master cylinder rebuild etc. Yeah, these cars aren't cheap.

I had a 85 countach and it was and still is in my opinion one of the most exotic cars ever to be built but the maintenance was ridiculous.

I think everyone growing up through the 80's had a Countach poster, I used to have that black poster, have no idea where the fuck it went.

Damn. I know those a horrible cars to maintain, but just looking at those pics makes me smile. It's like I'm 12, again. I think the problem with that car would be I'd want to drive it all over the place but maintaining it would kill me.

Amazing how we all drooled over those things 20 years ago, and today they look kinda'...meh.
IMO, that car is a piece of history. That's the first truly exotic looking exotic that I remember.

got to drive one as a kid back in 86. koolest thing i ever drove up to that point. was in love with them forever. not sure id want one now as i hate the interior like darius said. but it still is a kool car.
