Worlds Fastest Production Car Officially Built in the USA
I cannot understand why no one here apparently likes this car. Sure I do not like the two tone paint schemes - but if a customer demanded 1 color - the customers word would be final - it is a nice looking car, if Ferrari made it the world would be in awe...
come on guys - America has got the fastest car in the world - weighs only 2750lbs, makes 1183hp, runs 9.9 1/4 at 144mph without AWD to help, and comes with DVD/stereo and air con. Guiness Book of Records has allowed its 256mph average to take the world record for production cars...
All I've heard from people is that when they saw it or some test drove it, felt like it was put together like crap. Fast, but haven't heard anything positive by people who checked it out. Anybody on here go over one?

I heard that Bugatti tried to buy one and there were no production cars actually made yet.
The front looks like a poorly made Diablo replica kit. I would think they could do better than that. I guess if the price was great and the performance was truly insane it might be interesting but not a very exciting looking car.
1. The lines on the side of the car are not clean and borderline rediculous.
2. The interior looks like it was cobbled together poorly by a low budget street rod builder.
3. Whoever painted those cars should be shot. Their color schemes suck.
4. And YES if I'm shelling out Saleen S7-like money, that Sh*t DOES matter!
but no, I wouldn't kick it outta bed for eatin' cookies.
lol - agree on the paint. Bugatti got away with a two color scheme but this car sure does not.
I think you have to compare this car to an F40 but with a few luxury features added in. YOu cannot compare it to a Lambo TT or a Veyron. It's lightweight construction will probably give it a race car like feel - like an F40, with the squeaks and creaks etc that go with it. It is not going to feel solid like a Veyron nor could it at that weight.
The F40 had a badge that blinded people to the fact it was a hard nosed race car that was street legal and it would be terrible for daily driving, the interior was bare bones. This is a lot better than an F40 for interior trim and features, but no doubt has similar ride and race car feel.
It either blends race car with supercar or does neither very well trying to be both - time will tell. Hopefully fit and finish wil be good on the production models.

Agree! I think from the side it looks kind of sharp, but head on with the hood, it doesn't look aggressive enough.

TORQUEMONSTER, THE FOLKS THAT BUILT THIS ONE TIME WONDER ARE KIT CAR BUILDERS..........DO A GOOGLE ON THEM...... CONGRATS TO THEM ON SETTING THE NEW BENCH MARK!ITS ONE THING TO BUILD THE "FASTEST PRODUCTION CAR"LETS SEE HOW MANY MORE THEY BUILD AND HOW LONG THEY HOLD UP!SO THERE REALLY ISNT ANY LOVE JUST YET
Now grasshopper understands - never knew the roots of the car
At a price of $575k you'd want more than a kitcar hotrod as you could build a 1200hp Ultima for less than half of that on a proven chassis and with proven replacement parts support.
Mind you - I have nothing against really good kitcars, I just think that if they want to charge supercar prices then the fit, build quality and finishing needs to be A+ and they need a good story to romance those looking for some "magic" to distance themselves from "kits".
If they genuinely have refined the car to this level to justify the price, then lets hope they last long enough financially to prove it to the world. They must have spent seven figures of somebodies money to get to this point.
