Why are tire prices so low?
What's behind the ridiculously low prices on 18" 335/30s right now? I saw JonB pimping on the morgue this morning, so I went searching around. It's weird, TireRack has them for like $165 right now... but weirdly the smaller fronts are still up over $300.

What is causing this?

Back in late April, you could have got them for $139 each, either Tire Rack or Parts Rack. I'm thinking Michelin will soon discontinue this tire like they did on the MXX3s and perhaps debut a new tire. But it doesn't explain why the fronts costs nearly twice the rears. SRT-10 uses the same front tire?
