With mods, yes. Stock, it'll be a bit shy of 600.

I couldnt see gm giving it that much power. That is to close to their flagship ZR1 and 100hp faster than the Z06. I know there would be a big weight difference but the hp numbers are what they will market. I would bet no more than 500-520hp

My GM sources tell me they are expecting 550 hp rating, using a similar roots supercharged 6.2L found in the ZR-1. The LS9 ZR-1 engine is basically a forged internal LS3/L92. It will be detuned of course, and probably run a larger pulley to do this. Can't upset the flagship Corvette guys with silly HP ratings

Yeh reports so far say expect 510-550 hp....now underrated who knows, could careless since the car is going to stomp on the M5, E63, RS4, M3 etc, heck the current RS4 is a little porker that can just keep up with the current CTS-V. I almost bought an E39 M5 and after driving a friends CTS-V I was really suprised, the V drove better then the M5 imo, handling was razor sharp for a sedan and it drove less harshly, interior wasn't bad but lacking against the M5 but that was its only fault.

I really can't wait for the new V, nevermind stock, but they are easily modded with basically anything you could do to a Vette, their gonna blow competitors out of the water. And now the interior is right on par with the Euro's if not better. Modability, looks, awsome interior...AND manual transmission with 4 doors, can't ask for more.

Drove a regular CTS not too long ago, it was a very nice car and it moved ok with the 300hp V6. Anything over 500hp in that car is going to be awesome. What transmission are they going to use in it?

My money is on 550. I think the price is going to be a bunch more than the previous. I would bet we'll see them in the 70k range.
