Did you notice how many times the Viper was mentioned in the article? They also really show the difference between the 08 and the Z06 which is nice for a change.
Damn, that Bi#ch is fast to 60 and 1/4. I wonder how its geared. From 1/4 on, I would like to know how it performance. On a high way roll I still think the Viper and Z06 will out perform. Regardless, those times to the 1/4 are fast for stock, especially moving 3800. Turbos do wonders.
The car is bad to the bone no doubt....But your friend made it out to be a Viper/Z06 killer, "world" killer....These numbers, specifically the trap speed, were already eclipsed by the Gen II Vipers 10 years ago...The new ones are in the 129mph region with Im sure some 130's bonestock...So the GTR will be playing backup on the straights to the new Viper.....Cant wait for a track test to see where this beast really stacks up....Ill take one in red....

I think people had a problem with you and your friend claiming it will be faster than a Viper or Z06 and the rest of the world.....11.6 is "quick" due to AWD...Against the new Vipers that are hitting 125-129mph the GTR will get whooped on the straights which anyone with half a brain knew just by the specs Nissan released Cant wait for the head to head...Win or lose this car is the real deal especially considering its price....

no the viper is just a car with a big engine made for power. dodge is too lazy and cant put research into their engines so they just boost displacement to make the owners happy and guess what happens? a nissan beats them in a 0-60 and a 1/4. why? because of the engineering and high tech launch/awd/etc. put into it

i believe there was a MINE's GT-R tracked at laguna seca. i think it got a slower time than the previous mine's r34 but we'll see other gt-r's in different tracks.
