Why do people always bring aftermarket comparisons into the equation?
The ZR1 is a stock.....as in FACTORY......car.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but Dodge has nothing in response but looks.
Would I take an '08 Viper over the ZR1? damn straight.
Then I'd buy the ZR1 anyways.
Not quite sure how you figure a car that weighs the same, has the same power, better suspension, equivalent brakes, better aero, and a better chassis isn't a good response to the ZR-1, but to each his own.
I guess we'll wait until the numbers come in, should be a good comparison.
I think its gonna be close as hell. Either way you cut it, it is a fantastic time to be a car guy. These new cars are faster than most race cars were just ten years ago.

I agree on everything but on equivalent brakes, no way no how and question the areo. Guess we'll have to see....
Sorry NOOB, and you are who again?
Just to let you know that you don't know shit, the Z06 is hand built just like the Viper, the base Vette is mass produced.
Hey cock lips; the only part of the Z06 that is hand assembled is the engine. The reason that the paint is so poor is because it is not wet sanded by hand. Who is the dumb fuck now?
Dream on, corvulva troll. The Z06 is one of the least reliable cars on the road. Its paint job looks like it came out of a dozen cans of rustoleum. You can crank that supercharger all you want and it will never match a twin turbo Viper. Stock vs. stock, I am willing to bet that the ACR will eat it up on a road course. Chevrolet has lost its way and never truly built a car in the class of a Viper, to begin with. Chevrolet had a good concept of what the corvette should be, back in the 60's. Even so, it was always a rickety pile of shit compared to the well constructed, hand built Viper. Go sell your horseshit at corvette forum, where you will find lots of equally effeminate dreamers as yourself, who will gladly engage in a circle jerk extravaganza.
Yet you own an 82 Vette. Do you get nervous when minivans roll up on you?

Fucking die.
I own the vette for the purpose of making my own automobile porn movies. I typically lube the vette up, shine her up with some red lipstick, direct her to wag her tail a little bit, then let the well hung Viper come in and drill the ever living piss out of her. Sometimes, it's a dp, with one Viper per hole.
If you are interested in purchasing some of my productions, send me a pm. Then again, you probably prefer homo auto porn videos, like one ricer balling another ricer.

King Faggy everyone already knows that the Z06 engine is hand assembled, but what you don't know is that many other parts of the car are hand assembled as well.
And yes, the paint is applied by machine, but I'll tell you what, seeing you're the little cock gobbler of the Alley I will let your scrawny ass come over and wet sand the car for me seeing that it bothers you soo much that you can't afford one.
Sorry junior, but here's a quote from a guy that was at the plant to see it in action...
The Z06 and the base Corvette run simultaneously down the same assembly line and during the personal owner's tour I did not see any robots assembling the cars which havevery few parts in common. There is no distinction between the hand assembly of either car since they follow the exact same path and pass through the same work stations.
The final assembly process is done by hand if you don't count the tools which control torque.
I did not see the actual painting process, but I assume it is done with painting robots, a common procedure to achieve a consistent quality. All painted parts are very carefully examined and matched for color and surface quality, and if a part is damaged its replacement must match, something easier said than done.
How do you figure I cannot afford one, when I have 2 Vipers and even a vette, which is worth well more than a new Z06? Rather than buy the '06 Viper, I could have bought a Z06 and had a mexi like yourself go over every nut and bolt, that machines fastened, and still had money left over.
By the way, I suggest you learn to worship your superior and avoid engaging with me. You wouldn't be the first corvulva gaybird that I humiliated on this forum. You bought the economy car, while I flexed my purchasing muscle and came home with the real deal, not once but twice. In fact, I walked away from a brand new atomic orange Z06 to purchase the GTS, this past July. You'll have to come to terms with my dominance over you or it will eat you alive. Now, be gone, peasant.
Heres a video of the assembly/manufacturing of the C6Z06.
I dont know if anyone has the National Geographic channel. They had a show called "Ultimate Factories".
They showed 3 car factories.

Dude, owning a couple of vipers and a couple of vettes doesn't make you rich. Show me a Veyron as your DD and you might win this argument but with what is in your stable (a picture of that would be nice assuming you are not renting) right now only proves.....ah, nothing.

Read again. Where did I say anything about being rich? He claimed that I could not afford to buy a Z06 and my post was a reply to that. I wouldn't buy a Veyron, even if I had that kind of money (which I don't). It's ugly as shit and way overpriced. It's also not american and I prefer to buy american. I would much rather have a completely worked twin turbo Viper than an ugly duck like that.

WTF is this....bragging I believe.
Try to remember that Mike just traded in his SRT10 for the Z06.
Surely, his statement that I could not afford a Z06 was pure stupidity. My statement suggested that he should not make such claims when, more than likely, I have more financial worth than he has. Take it in humor, although he is a douche. What you call "bragging", I prefer to call "artistic leveraging".
