buying the first viper

I am looking at trading the truck in for my first viper. I found a 2003 srt with 39,000 miles for $38,000 and i found a 97 with a little work with 22,000 miles for $45,000. I am just wondering what everyone thinks is a better buy.

Ah, thats mine lol. Thought that sounded familiar. That would be the lowest priced SRT I have heard of. Depends what you want in a car. The SRT is faster, more comfortable, more ergonomic but I think the GTS looks better. FYI though i'm not sure if i'm still selling it

The price may be reflective of the condition of the car. I wouldn't worry too much about the mileage on these cars as they seem to hold up very well and have good reliability IF they are well taken care of. If the 03 has a well documented history then it might be a good deal. Just be careful
