G.....that is a work of art Bro!!! if the wife didnt want a new house, I think I would have a new toy!, I mean she would have a new car!!! keep that thing!!!!
The unfortunate thing about mods is that you never get your money back.......you'll have to have the right person come along at the right time who has some knowledge of the mods that you have done, and can appreciate them......then you'll possibly have some satisfaction with a sale, but I doubt you'll even get close to $50K as it's a C5.....that's not a put down, that's just that there are a ton of them out there (I know....not like yours), however.....there are still a ton of them out there.........I do wish you luck on the sale.
What this guy said.
I wish you the best regardless. Interesting to see what you get next
One of the previous posts was really correct. There are a lot of C5's out there, NONE like this one! You will have to have the right person come along to sell the car. Moded cars my whole life and I've never heard of the 50% off total costs of mods added to the price of the car as being the NORM. I have never come close to that figure and I've done some bad ass cars. I'm sorry to say that I don't think you'll get much more than $42 or $43 for it. Not trying to be a downer, but that's the name of the game when it comes to the car "hobby" at this point in time. The market is really soft, and we will see that most likely at Barrett-Jackson Auction this year. (Not that the prices are realistic, but just that it will give a read of the market for cars at this juncture in time) However, I wish you well, and if you get more than I think you will, more power to you! Good luck!

Thanks for your input.
I have had offers in the low 50's already.
- Your right it takes a unique person to buy something that is already modded.
"said" person also realizes the hassle of modding and debugging setups like this and the money/time saved.
I have used the 50% rule on all my cars I have sold and it has always worked for both parties.
First of all, very nice C5 with an even nicer build. Good luck finding a buyer for that C5, we all understand that your $XX,XXX was used to modify your car and there is no doubt that it is fast as hell, but C5's are ancient already. The real value of your car is far less than what your expecting to get. You need to find a C5 freak with a lot of cash to blow who really likes centrifical blowers to hope to get anywhere near your asking price. Your looking for a diamond in the rough. I'd be amazed if anyone offers you more than $30K.
My bad for throwing out an "experienced" input. Your sarcasm was also completely necessary. Maybe you could do us all a favor and crash into an inanimate object while your trying to top out, then no one would give a fuck about your sale. Invest more in your Z06 and make it your coffin. Before I wished you luck with your sale, now I hope you crash your shit joy riding before you can sell it, then it will really be worth the outstanding price your asking.

Easy there killer.
I guess I would like to throw a "thank you" your way for clearing up your previous post with the intelligence I am getting from your second thoughtful reply.
I really should apologize as I thought your sarcasm was over ruled by your intellect.
... I was wrong.
As far as the car being a coffin... not a bad business idea.
Ill give you royalties if it becomes profitable.
