Festivals of Speed was at the Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes Resort in Orlando on Sunday. Lots of nice cars (2 Veyrons, 2 Enzo's, 1 FXX, some FGT's, Lambos, misc Ferraris, etc.)
The Saleen S7 is a kit car. I have a buddy that works at a machine shop that makes various parts for it. They don't even really measure the parts post machine as it doesn't really matter to the builder as it just all bolts together however the tolerences.
Lots of money on that lawn..
What was the deal with the corvette with the lambo doors? That kills it for me. Other than that, there are some really awsome cars there.

You must be an idiot to think that S7 is a kit car!! Probably another troll trying to stir up the pot alittle more! You obviously don't know what went on with the design and construction of that car. Also kit...... sorry but they have their own VIN numbers 2, does that count as a legit manufactured car...?
I'm just saying it's not a real manufactured car but made with a kit car process. Perhaps some would call that hand built, but I'll call it a kit car. Whereas the FactoryFive type cars made in a peoples garage are built with some level of validation and inspection the S7s are just slapped together with whatever the suppliers ship to them. And I suspect Saleen outsources all the parts except the assembly. Without any level of automation, it's a kit car.

Hmmmmm... a $400,000 kit car? So taking you're reasoning into account... a Rolls would be a "kit car" since it is hand built with little or no automation?

Any good machine shop would make a quality part correct and in spec the first time......
You don't know what the hell you are talking about.......
What a great collection of cars!! I almost bought a Saleen identical to that one (minus the cheezy wing) last spring...just couldn't quite make the deal.
