Who the hell cares if someone leases or buys something. He's asking about the car itself, not about your approval of his financing methods. Many, many wealthy people lease exotics. Why purchase it if you are only going to keep it for a couple years? Why would you want to pay sales tax on the whole purchase if you are not planning to keep it for a long time?
The lease is up in 8 months, at which time I'll be buying the car. Not that that matters at all. If there was 2 years left on the lease I'd still probably do the deal.
