This is like Christmas Morning ... and I'm Jewish!
Congrats on the beautiful work Adam!
Silly question, but I gotta ask. "Do you ever drive these things or do you just buy them to tear them down and rebuild?"
Jay K.
Yes I drive them as much as I can, but if I know there is something that is in need of fixing, it drives me nuts. I had friends tell me just drive the damn car, but then if the timing belt broke because I ignored some noises, then I would be screwed..Unfornately these cars don't heal themselves so I have to go in and operate.
Here's some updated pictures. I am putting the engine back in this weekend! The pictures below are pictures of work done. I will post more later.

Well the end is near. I want to Thank my good friend Joey for helping out and my brother for putting up with me. Also an honorable mention to Doug! He managed to help out and net even get his hands dirty. (I think people who live in Locus Creek have restrictions about doing work that gets you dirty! LOL!)
Today we got the engine in the car. I was going to try to finish up today, but I need to take a break. I am tired and I don't want to rush anything. So I will continue to work on it through the week. I may have about 6-7 more hours of work to do before I start it up. Still have to put in the exhaust system, coolant, all fluids, bleed the clutch, put the radiators back in, rear deck lid on and some other minor stuff.
Adam lives a short distance from me so I had him do some work on my Viper last winter. In two weeks Ill get my Viper back to Adam for exhaust work, new SC belt, plugs, plug wires and some of that powder coating and a few other things.
Fortunate to have Adam so close. Since Adam is doing the work for me I don't think he will mind for me asking- we need 02 simms for the exhaust work on my 06 coupe. PM me if you have simms for sale.
