Hummer H2?

I really dont need this freakin f350 dually I kick around in. anymore..

Whos got a Hummer? Like it, hate it? Tell me what you think? I know it will never haul my enclosed two car, how does it do with a single car trailer? Hows the interior? How does the 6.0 6.2 perform and how well do they accept mods....

I am going to go for a test drive...Fill me with knowledge prior to my spending 20 painful minutes with a salesman

I had one for about two years. Never had a problem, other than poor to crappy gas mileage. Funny thing was, I sold it and got the SRT10 QC (worse gas mileage). Once you get used to the view out the front window, everything else is fine. It works as a DD out here in west Texas but I am not sure how well it would fair in the burbs. Popping over curbs is never a problem, If I recall, it can climb a 16 inch step without scatching the bottom.

no way bobby....this will be a keeper...yes it will...

i have pimped a few, systems, 31's, monotone paint but have no real seat time...

for me to have a f350 quad dually as my driver is overkill...i need something more practical, like the h2

get a Yukon or Tahoe you will like much much better especially as a d/d vision out of the H2 sucks hardly any storage, gas mileage is worse also, they are also A LOT more comfortable and practicle!!

I love my H2..........great daily driver. Feels like you are sitting in your lazy boy driving down the read. You don't have to worry about hitting curbs, where you drive or where you park. Turning radius is good.

As you know there are lots of options for the interior.....mine has nav, tv's, back-up camera, carbon fiber dash, suede headliner, etc.......

I believe I read that the Tahoe is coming out as a hybrid option too. If you do city driving it might make a big difference in MPG.
Hummer has the cool factor. Every time I see a black H2 I have to look. If it would only fit in my garage.

We finally decided on the new Nissan Armada LE 4wd, heading out this weekend to pick it up. I considered the H2 also, just couldn't get the wife wrapped around the idea. The Armada isn't much better on gas, 12/17, but it offers the best 2nd seat leg/head room in all the full size SUV's if you are thinking about that. I was as my whole family and most friends are 6-3 or taller. Fully loaded they sticker at $53k, but you can pick them up for about $42k. The engine is 317hp/385tq and they tow 9100lbs, which is more then any of the other full size SUV's I believe.

If I had to look every time I Saw a black H2, or any H2 for that matter, I would have severe whiplash

There are not too many black H2s in this area. Many mommy SUVs though. For that matter, I've only seen 3 Vipers in 15 months. I guess people are buying real estate instead of trying to beautify the roads here on the East coast. Red or yellow would be my second choice for Hummer colors.

Rediculous vehicle. An overpriced Tahoe that does EVERYTHING worse and looks like it was designed by Tonka. I'd get a Tahoe and as above, I would actually look at the Hybrid.

I had one for about 3 months. It was one of the best looking ones I had seen, but driving it SUCKED.
It was cool for about a month or two after that I was dying to get rid of it. I bought it as a DD. Very Slow. SUCKS GAS WITH A PASSION. SLOW, and burns a lot of gas.

I traded it for my Jeep SRT8 and I love it. The SRT8 is soo fun. I enjoy it more than the Viper sometimes. HA.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND the HUMMER H2.

Hummer = overinflated ego middle managment , trying to make a statement. ( at least thats my experience )

They are nice vehicles, but have no class IMO.

If you want practicality and function - Tahoe or escalade.

and for teh lux. ... Merc. GL is a great vehicle. Cayenne , RR , ect.

it was just a an idea that i came up with last night. i usually buy cars on a whim, like most of you. since i sold my other gig i drive six blocks a day, maybe a mile if i am lucky.
the h2 is an easy rig to pimp to show my work and it can surely tow my single car trailer.
the jeep srt is another idea but i have already owned one for a few months, maybe another srt quad but they suck ass in the winter and i kissed the ground when i finally sold my last one.

the incoherent ramblings of a madman

You can pimp a RR, no? New Merc GL may be an emerging market for you as well. G55 is a blast.

My best friend owns predator motor sports here in San Diego. He does duramax diesel conversions on them all the time. He also makes them so they can run on diesel or oil. I heard next year the duramax will be an option on the h2. They are much more fun with the diesel in them. I have had 2 h1's in the past and loved them. The viper is the only thing that compared in fun factor. Unfortunately I bought mine before Gm got their hand on them and made them reliable.
