We've all heard stories of the car "I never should have sold". What's yours?
Mine was sold 7 years ago to help free up funds to build a house.
1970 Charger RT. Bought from the original owner in 1992 and it only had 64K original miles. It had not been driven since the late 70's. All original, even down to the fan belts being date coded November 1969. I even still have his original warranty and bill of sale from when he bought it in Virginia Beach at Thompson Royal Dodge. The car was primered, but original it was red with the white Bumble Bee tail stripe. White Vinyl top and White Leather interior. A/C, Auto., A.M. 8 track, center console delete. it had the "buddy seat".
Original 440-4 bbl engine. The kicker? I bought it for 1K and sold it for 2 1/2K. Today I could probably name my price for that car.

I never sold one that I shuold not have sold (I usually keep em), but I passed on a few that I should have bought that I didn't. All were cheap as dirt, but I just did not realize what value they would have. 66 GTO, 67 GTX, 55 chevy, 66 442 etc etc etc
My mom had Mustang number 2.....Lee Iacoca's daughter got the first, my great uncled own Courtesy Ford in chicago which at the time was the largest for dealer I guess. He got it and my mom bought it new (my dad said it was a pos though, 3spd, straight 6)....who would have known the run the pony cars had......
I kick myself for not buying a 1964 Dodge with a 426 max wedge when I was 16. The guy wanted 4K in really nice shape even with the redline spare in the trunk. But I was a chevy guy back then so I bought a '82 camaro. I am an idiot I admit.

I passed on a 65 Plymouth 426 Max Wedge for $700 and bought a 64 Sport Fury Convertable 383 4 spd for $825 instead. Wanted a convertable real bad. Plus the convertable was silver and the max wedge was dark blue. Wish I had the 65 GTO with 56,000 miles back I sold for $3,200. Maybe the 1970 Lotus Europa, too.
'70 dodge charger R/T one of 328 EB7 dark blue metallic chargers. A/C, pb, ps, 440, sure-grip. it needed alot rust repair but i bought it for $4000 in may of '06 and sold it in january '07 for $7000. ill want it back once im out of college lol
When I was looking for my first car in 1980 we passed a Boss 429 Mustang for sale on the side of the road. I wanted a mid 60's Corvette convertible bad and could not bring myself to buy a Mustang- bad choice in retrospect.
My 1969 Corvette Roadster, Monaco Orange, L71 427/435 tri-power, fully documented, heavily optioned, body off restoration, an NCRS Top Flight 98 point rated car
1970 Challenger, 440 6 pak, pistol grip 4 speed, 4:10 Dana. All original body panels, matching numbers. Sold it not all that long ago, around 8-10 years ago and prices promptly doubled or even tripled since then.
