They aren't true "muscle" cars, but I sold my '71 Chevelle convertible and my '67 Mustang convertible.

I wouldn't really say that I regret it though, because they funded my first Viper.

a rally white 69 Corvette 427 4 speed convertable with OEM sidepipes, AC, hardtop and softtop. I bought this from the orginal owners in Watkins Glen. They used it as the pace car for alot of races in the 70's before they closed the track for a brief time. It had 40K miles on it and was cherry. I sold it to buy my second house in 1995 for $25K at a wholesale auction. I am not even sure what it would be worth today.

You know, you have a damn good point there. My older muscle cars were fun, but there was always that uneasy feeling when you got them above 70 mph, suspension beginning to sway a little, drum brakes can't help you stop, skinny tires, etc.

For me, there is nothing like the feeling of my Viper as it heads down the road. The car is so confident.
