I think the fact that you are crying about it is the problem here. It doesn't matter how smoothly you approach things here. When you are new, you get shit about it. Even when you are not new, you still get shit. It is the nature of the site. If you hold your own and stop puling I am sure you will eventually EARN respect here. Odds are, you and some members will never get along, and I think that just makes things interesting.
As for your car. I respect a saleen mustang...A hell of a lot more than I respect a corvette...
If beating a viper wasn't the holy grail for the average sports car driver (and motorcycle) I am sure I wouldn't have as big of a problem with the "competition."
All of these folks came knocking on our door first. For the most part, viper owners didn't go around trying to undermine every car within a 10,000 mile radius.... It's the other way around...
Now I will admit there are some shit starters and douches in vipers, but odds are they are old vette or porsche douches who happened to move up and brought their garbage attitude with them.
I think the fact that we don't take you guys seriously is the problem. It really seems to get under your skin. (I am not referring to you, I mean you as in vette guys, etc.)
The viper is what it is. Why the hell everyone wants to knock it down is beyond me...

I drive a Volvo for Christ's sake....but jokes aside, get a lot more respect than some members on the board that have Vipers. Come in, share knowledge, don't be a douche ect....

I never had a Saleen, but I did own a Ford Maverick with American Racing wheels and custom pin-striping, so that is pretty close. When I graduate from high school, I am going start saving for a Viper!
