Glad to hear you're keeping up with Dee Snider.
Come on, Chris. You can do better than THAT.
I really thought that was what it took to get in the club! What is the matter with Dee Snider? Anyone that files their teeth into points and takes on Tipper Gore has to be ok. I mean really he took on a bored house wife with an agenda and a husband in politics... Hillary is next...
With the mustangs I thought the S281E had the 1/4 windows blocked? Have you had any motor or electrical problems?

The 1/4 window panels are an option on the E only. I ordered my car with them, but Saleen didn't get all the parts available until after no. 50 in the run for 06. I didn't feel like the dealership screwing up the paint etc. trying to remove the glass and paint/install the panels.
No problems with the motor. I've had 2 problems on the car: The clutch slave cyl. went bad at 300 miles on the odo and the sensors for the airbags in the seats were malfunctioning around 500. Saleen flew in an engineer and replaced the seat covers and sensors. Oh, and the steering wheel center logo is a plastic stick-on piece of shit that fell off. They replaced that and it's been fine so far.
I was beginning to think the car was a piece, but no problems lately.
Dee Snider huh? I'm old enough to know you must be mid thirties.

Still -34...
Yep mid 30's.
This is what happens to your Saleen when you let the local Ford dealer fix their mistakes. If you notice our current Saleen is a vert and is white... Whatcha think happened to this one?
Yea. Why? Excuse me if I'm a little defensive on this site.
Akk.. defensive about what guy? YOU'RE the one who started this ridiculous thread in the first place. did you even research the site before you joined. I know I do when I go to other forums, it's only proper to know your surroundings before you dive in.

I have a Shelby GT500, and I have to agree with you that it is just a Mustang.
In real world sales, they have better resale than the Viper for the first few years, but they keep going down while the Viper price bottoms out and stays there.
My GT500 will wipe the floor with a Saleen, but mine is modded and around 650HP. They are all pigs and can not handle any road course. They are great for 1/4 mile stomps though.
I agree. They are a little on the heavy side to be running through corners. It takes some serious suspension mods to hang with the Vipers and Vettes on a road course. Really outclassed all the way around.
I think most people who own vipers appreciate most nice cars. Some might be a little anti-rice, but I think respect is more in tune with the person not their ride.
You can find dickheads in any car. I respect people not cars. I am actually looking to buy a GT500 to complement my Viper. So yeah I like the Mustang.

I would guess that:
a) the color match was off (being red)
b) the fit of the Saleen body parts was poor
c) Some dumbass shipped the car on a regular car carrier and frigged it up trying to load/unload
d) all the above.
No, a non-Viper owner can't get any respect in here. Now get the fuck outta here. Next...........
Love the avatar. Should try it in 4". Easily carried and still deadly accurate. The 350 XTP is the only bullet to load unless you are hunting elephant or cape buff in which case i prefer the 440 hard cast. Any of them work on Viper drivers.

Wrong on all your choices. When he first bought the car, the dealership had decals promoting a sale on the sides of the cars, when they went to take them off, and upon further inspection... the guys used razor blades to take off the decals and screwed up the paint. It had other paint blemishes as well that needed to be fixed.

Real Einsteins. Makes me dread the thought of ever having to return the car to a dealership.
