There is a guy here in New Orleans that has a black F-50. He drives it everyday, rain or shine. I think it has about 40k miles on it. From what I hear, his car has more miles on it then all of the other ones built combined! Don't know if it is true, but I envy a guy that buys a car like that and uses it!
my buddy and i saw a black f50 in nawlins last week...must have been the same guy..all we saw was the top of hte car and the wing...damn dividers blocked our view

That is awesome! I would do the same, use it every chance I had, and enjoy it.
Viperess...I think I still have the picture, but when I was at Ferrari days last year, they had to start this car with a pair of pliers. The key was broken in the ignition. Expensive cars still get the redneck treatment! I love it.
He sold it for an F50-GT of which there were 3 made, and he later sold the F-50GT also, I believe. As I understand, this guy has a HUGE collection, and drives them all. He has some rare car now with all sorts of racing history that he drives. I think it's worth in the multi-million dollar range.

I had 1600miles, and my buddy had 4000miles or more... but let's just pick 800 miles per car. Multiply by 250 cars or so, that is 200,000 miles.
Or divide 40k by 250, that's 160 miles max per car.
But still 40k is amazing for an F50.
Maybe you're counting only the US cars...
Vipers are hot, but F50s are even hotter! There are no amenities in the F50, except AC... I never use AC in my viper, but I had to in the F50, with all the hot air pumped out by the 2 fans in the hood.
When you stick out your elbow while driving, it gets baked by the hot stream that goes right by the mirrors.
But the music that comes out of these engines is worth all the hassles, the bottoming out, the wimpy starts:
oh, and price wise, my buddy paid $450K for his, I shelled $700K for mine, resold for $620K.
Mine was super clean with Tubi straight pipes.
He's is more cruddy, regular pipes, dirty engine, blown up wheel well, some seals to replace, synchro problems, etc...
For $250K more, the only problem I had was the oil pressure sensor that came lose. $0 repair.
