TF the Movie will suck. It's nothing compared to the original 1986 release, which had an eceletic foundation of characters. This new movie looks like a hollywood-ed up Independance Day featuring robots. Granted, the special effects will surely kick ass, the story line will be stupored and lack any originality, complexity, or awesomeness of Gen 1 TF.

Growing up watching the Dinobots kick ass I never thought for a second that Senor Spielbergo and Transformers would be uttered in the same sentence. Yeah, this one's gonna suck.....
His movies as of late suck. And he is NOT THE PROPER PERSON for this movie. A better person would have been the original writers of TF Gen 1, or even Star Trek writers (RIP Rodenberry) or shit, even LOTR writers and direct0r. Speilberg movies are all about making $$$.

Ahh, how I miss the Indian Jones days. Snakes On A Plane was highly anticipated? Ghost Rider looked pretty lame from the previews and the comic itself had a cult fallowing at best. Granted, it's a greaty comic, but still. Those two movies were doomed to fail.

War Of The Worlds was a pretty good movie , so was Minority Report.
Well, we will just see how good Transformers is when it comes out in July.

You've got to be kidding me. Maybe Ghost Rider but Snakes on a Fuckin' Plane?
I can imagine it...theater is packed, Snakes trailer finishes and you say "man, I have GOT to see that one". When I saw the trailer I wanted that one minute of my life back.
I was at Blockbuster and noticed where the "Snakes" dvds were there was a movie called Snakes on a Train! And it was rented! WTF!
Well, it is Bay directing so you pretty much already know what you are going to get. It will have really cool shots for no reason other than they look cool and the VFX will be really awesome but you will leave the theater wishing that it had more substance. The movie will make a ton of money because people will pour into the theater because they saw flashy ads everywhere then will walk out talking about how Hollywood makes shit movies as they walk right by an empty theater with an actual quality movie showing in it but overlooked. That said, I still want to see it just because transformers are fucking cool but have already been warned that it is a typical Bay film from friends that have.
