650 Horsepower for Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR 722 Edition

This slightly improved version of the McLaren SLR is featured in this month's issue of the Robb Report. I'm surprised this car doesn't come standard with a V-12 for almost half a million; the SLR comes with a 5.5 liter supercharged V-8.

I would actually prefer a modded AMG SL65 for the price and performance.

I would love to see one in black. I never really liked the SLR, but this one looks much better than the regular one. I also have found a new appreciation for the SLR after seeing the movie "Redline"

For what it's worth, the April 2007 issue of DuPont Registry has a decent sized picture of a black SLR on page 101.
