Anyone Have the New Mercedes GL-450?

P.S. Picked up a new BMW M6 Coupe about 3 weeks ago, it's so smooth that you don't realize how fast the freakin thing is going. With the 500 hp and 7 speed F1 paddleshifted tranny it's my new daily driver!

Missed you folks at the race.....just too busy with Airplanes and Classic

Viper Jedi. I ran a 10.40 with Pirellis. If I would have used Pilot cups who knows how low in the 10's I could have ran & all on pump gas

I don't know what Pilot "cups" are, but Pilot mxx3 is the tire that came on the early Gen II Vipers from the factory, on 17 inch wheels(my record setting Viper still has the tires that came on it from the factory--they were used on the runs). Needless to say, a very hard tire with a small diameter. Pilot mxx3's are a harder compound tire than P-zeros.

Not taking anything away from your runs, if I had 2-300 more horsepower like you and Tony, you'd both still be chasing after me......as Tony has done at one track after another when I was into Viper Street Tire Drag Racing. Remember that the last Viper Drag race I attended was over 2 years ago.

To go one step further into factual data, no-one has ever gone quicker on the same track on the same day when I have attended a Street Tire Race....ever. I have lost interest in Viper Drag Racing due to other exciting ventures, you guys have the lead now....for that reason IMHO.

Keep up the good runs, one day I might feel like Viper racing some more and I look will look forward to chasing the new records for street tire events as those have always been my favorite!
