Are you saying that's a MPH record? There are a few stock cars that have gone into the 11.20's already.
A good friend went 11.29 at 127.4 about a month ago in a 100% stock car on stock tires. I was there when he made the run.
I don't know how legit it is, but Ranger on the vette forum supposedly ran an 11.24 in an all stock car as well.

Ranger is one of the better drivers in the Vette world. He had stock C5 Z06's in the high 11's.

You're right, it might not be a record, but a 31 is nothing to laugh at either. that's also the highest MPH I've seen from a stock car as well.

Actually Jamie's runs were made at Maryland International Raceway. He ran three back to back 11.34's and one 11.31, all at a little over 128. Damn those Z06's are fast.
