Imagine what that must feel like! Left marks in the pavement from the wheelie bar. That car makes the 7.99 heffner car look slow.

That's chalk for measuring suspension performance.

Wheelie bars are a safety device and should never be used as a tuning device.
Sweet ride though. It take a BIG SET to drive one of those rockets. (a bigger set that I have thats for sure)

Pretty damned impressive... Seemed like it went good and straight. That's always nice.

There are a lot of NHRA Pro Stock teams that would disagree with that.

Maybe I should have given a bit more info to back up my general statement that goes along with PFR's post.
The white marks left by the wheelie bars do indicate how the chassis is working so a crew can
adjust the chassis as needed.
They are not to be used to correct severe handling problems caused by improper chassis tuning.
That better?

Get it close with preload on the bars and then make it go straight with the wheelie bars
Drive it with the wheelie bars is what we say.
A lot easier than adjusting the 4-link or ladder bars.

PS : It is possible and common to see teams using the bars to " steer " the car , although its not the best way to tune the chassis , its the easiest out ... the reasoning for pro mod and 10.5W teams using the single wheelie bar is to eliminate this common bad practice.

6.66 with a 6. Yep, he's bad and I think he shut it down a little early on that pass with his mph lower than other runs. He broke 220, no?
Did you see Manny ran a 7.11 at 206 on a 28" tall, true 10 inch tire?!?!?
