Last night, I traded the Rover in on a 2007 MB E63 AMG. It feels good to be back in a performance sedan.
It is obsidian black/cashmere interior and sounds wicked.

How does it feel compared to the Kompressor motor? I think the K motor had a good bit more torque at the lower and mid rpm's. Congrats!
Not sure about the tan but great car (again). Do you notice the brake feel being better as they ditched the brake-by-wire finally? Although the tq is lower for street driving, I bet once it gets warmed up it is noticeably quicker than the supercharged cars. Once warm, they really slowed down, like 5mph in the 1/4.
I was hesitant about the interior but it is what they had in stock and is turning out to be a nice change. The brakes and handling feel better from what I've seen with limited driving but I haven't pushed it yet.
The lower torque has reportedly made it easier to launch and street drive and should be ferocious on the big end. We will see.
Nice! More HP less TQ - let us know how it feels compared to the 55. Im curious which would be quicker. Im thinking the 55 is quicker out of the hole but the 63 better mid range.
