I am guessing due to the air show and the nice weather, lots of cars were out and about today. Went for a drive this afternoon and went through the area know as pussy river (aka Rush Street). 2 Gallardos (black and orange), 360 Spyder, finally saw a C6Z06 parked in front of Tavern on Rush, someone had a RT10 with 30 day tags, Porsche CGT in silver, Aston Martin Vanquish, Bentley CGT, etc. That was by far the most I have seen out at one time since moving to Chicago last August.
I had to laugh at the AM driver, I was going down a side street that has large speed bumps and the idiot launched the car off the speed bump. I was surprised any of the fascia was left, it made a horrible sound.
Some guys on bikes doing insane stuff on Lake Shore, riding wheelies for looooong periods of time. This one dude was into one for quite awhile and the back end started to wobble, I was waiting for carnage to breakout but he put her back down. Looked like a pucker moment to me.
Also Saturday night I ran into a black E60 M5 on Lake Shore Drive. We played around a little bit but never got the chance to line up. We played follow the leader from Ontario onto the highway but too much traffic on 90/94. The guy was giving the car hell though and they are damn fast for 4000 lb sedans, maybe that should replace the stolen Scion.
