This aint a bade looking vehicle........
......at least for a Mustang. With the same engine as the Ford GT and an MSRP of 45 large, I don't thik it's a bade deal at all. Screw the greed-bay price though.

That dealer is only 10 miles from my house. Maybe I will stop by and see it in person.

That is not even close to being the same engine as the GT has.
Those cars are pigs (3900 lbs!!) , and they aren't very quick for having 500 HP either. High 12's to low 13's are where they seem to be running.

the verts are 4100-4200 lbs and i would not pay a penny over sticker for one(and would wait till they are available at a discount, which has happened even for a Ford GT you can bet it will happen with this one also). I dont have to be the first one on the block to have one. The new Challenger looks better to me! make me one in a convertable with a six speed PLEASE(and no i wont pay over sticker for that one either)

"not even close?" Besides 50 hp, what's different? Does the GT have an aluminum block or something?

Yes, the GT has an aluminum block, the GT500 has iron. All of the reciprocating internals are different, and the superchargers and intakes are entirely different as well.
The heads are the only thing that interchange between the two.
