Nice! A 950hp GT1 would be a road race weapon but no GT cruiser.

I suppose after that we'll see a lightweight Veyron version with uprated turbos and more boost

Here's a modified street car that could beat the Veyron if tires ever get good enough

Ya...except unless Porsche has stolen Gemballa's idea, that photo is nothing but a new photoshopped paintjob on the concept Gemballa Mirage that they were planning to build, which was a 1000hp TT version of the Carrera GT with a Hardtop body fitted on.

That new CGT/GT1 is going to be killer. How would you like to be one of the guys that bought the line about Porsche never building a halo car before and never planning to build one in the future. "The CGT is a once in a lifetime opportunity." So you pay 50M over sticker, find out it is essentially a racecar and no fun to drive on the street and the kicker, the GT1 shows up with wicked power to go with the racecar feel and KILLS the value of your car. I'm talking 200M beating easy. Ouch.

I'd take that Porsche over the Veyron anyday. IMO the Veyron is ugly as sin but that Porsche looks properly mean for a supercar.........not some turtle shaped eggplant purple monstrosity
