That's really fucking incredible. All of the reports I have read say that is one very stable and easy to drive vehicle, which in my opinion is the most impressive accomplishment of all.

As a manufacturer, being able to throw the keys to a journalist and say, "Go ahead and run it on up to 253," you did your job.
i would bet that the Carty Beal from Midland will be getting one to add to his already impressive collection that includes an Enzo, McLaren F1, etc.
Those have already been sold, and the Lambo Murci was totaled a few months ago after being borrowed by a Midland county constable and his son, resutling in their deaths.
"But the 1890kg £880,000 Bugatti ripped through the gears to hit 60mph in 2.8sec and 100mph in an astonishing 5.5sec. It then stopped in just 3.4sec, giving a 0-100-0mph time of 9.9sec."
Somebody else caught this but wouldn't 5.5 plus 3.4 = 8.9 seconds?! Or is there 1 second of delay before actually applying the brakes
There is some delay in there due to human responce time since it is one continous test, not two seperate all out tests combined togeather.
Yeah, in the time that he saw the gauge read 100 to the time he got his foot off the gas and started braking he was probably doing 120 or so. R&T talked a ton about this when they did that huge 0-100-0 test a number of years back.
Being that it is exactly 1 second, I would guess they use that number as a constant. No way to accurately compare the cars without a little help like that for the driver.
I think Chad's 0-177mph in under 8 seconds is more impressive than a 0-100-0 in under 10 seconds. That is a ridiculous display of acceleration.
With 900lbs less weight, my HP level, and massive brakes I am confident that my car could equal the veryons 0-100-0 time, but could NEVER touch Chads 1/4 mile time.

SURE YOU WOULD WITH A PAIR OF SLICKS AND A PARACHUTE.
