Your favorite all time American Sports Cars

Here is my top 5 favorites in order:

1) 1996 Viper GTS
2) 1963 Corvette Sting Ray Z06
3) 1967 Corvette Sting Ray (L88)
4) 1965 Shelby Mustang GT-350R
5) 1965 Shelby Cobra

Barley missed the 5 spot was 1972 Buick GS 455 Stage 1. My parents had one when I was a child.

Now it is your turn.

If we're only talking a 2-seat sportscar, I could add a Pantera and a Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe to the cars already mentioned.

I would add, though, that the Buick GS really ain't no sports car. It's a muscle car all the way like a GTO, 442, Charger, Road Runner, etc.
