Im not sold on the rear end though the body does not seem to flow into the fenders, it looks awkward? Maybe something they are working on before it gets released?
"We last encountered the CTS Super V in testing at the Nürburgring (“Spied: Super V!, May 31, 2004), but this one—spotted recently by an alert spy shooter—appears much closer to production-ready. We’re told it’s the 2007 CTS Super V, and that it is powered by a 7.0-liter 505-hp LS7 V8 lifted directly from the Corvette Z06. The Super V also features custom bodywork, huge rear tires, larger exhaust pipes and an engine sound unlike any other CTS.
"Cadillac is stepping up its performance game, with plans for ultratuner versions of the CTS-V, STS-V and XLR-V, as well as the possibility of a new "Super V" lineup.
Cadillac product director John Howell told Inside Line the company is already feeling out the market for such products. No timetable has been set for when the beefed-up models would go into production, but Howell confirmed what has been widely rumored for some time — that Cadillac does not want to be left in the dust by such competitors as Mercedes-Benz or even its domestic rival Ford."
Come on. I saw an STSV the other day and that bitch was $70 something! You can get a real car for that kind of money. Granted, it is a neat, American hot rod but once price comes into play, it just sucks. Has anybody seen the interior in one of those things? Jesus.
I can only imagine what a Super Edition costs. But can not imagine what kind of retard picks that over an M5 or E55/63.

And don't get me started on the $100k XLR bagain.
Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. Now if they price this new CTS Super V around 50K MSPR, if might be worth considering. But $65 to $70K and you have too much competition that is more worthy of this type of investment. Of course, they always offer those mega-rebates and 0% financing that the Euro's don't need to. Therefore, you really can't go by MSPP/Invoice on American cars. Heck, I remember during the GM employee pricing the CTS-V could be had for under 45K if memory serves. That ain't bad for that price....
