A good F1 race...

I've been trying to be a F1 fan for years, but I'm dissapointed every year as one team dominates and there continued to be NO passing on the track.

I watched the race this morning from Bahrain and I actually enjoyed it. They had some passing and it looks like there will be a few teams with a shot at the title. Watching Alonso block Schuey (legaly) after his last stop was realy exciting. I just wish Shuey could have put more pressure on him at the end.

So I'll watch the next race and hope it's just as good. I'm trying to be a NASCAR fan, and I love them on the road courses, but I just get bored watching people drive in circles. I hope Paul Tracey keeps drivng Busch and eventually NASCAR, that would make me watch.

I like F1 too but the excitement isn't from any dueling battles between drivers. If it were judged solely on that it would be the most boring racing in the world.

With the exception of Alonso's pass today's lead changes were all from pit stops. Heck even Alonso's pass on Schuey was pit stop related, although at least it was a thrill.

I think they should inverse the field after qualifying. At least there would be some passing.

There was plenty of on track passing in the race. Most of it just didn't make it onto TV. I though it was the best F1 race I've seen in quite a while...
