I know it's not as much as some of the Vipers out there, but just thought I would post up what a stock 281 could do. This was just to get a baseline to see where things are coming in and what's working properly. We are going to swap some things around and go back a second time to work out the details, but it pulls okay. I have since messed with the boost controller and have gotten the turbo's to come in full around 4500 now, instead of 5500, so that'll make a difference when we go back. Also, this was on 110, but could've been pump gas, just didnt see taking the risk when i only drive it a few days a week. If we bump the timing up to 20*, we'll see about 900rwhp :thumb:
thanks guys...we've been messing with the boost controller more this weekend and feel this number will probably go way up once we figure out how to get them to come in sooner...Ive got them coming in about 1000rpm sooner now, but cant run it all the way b/c we havent gotten back to the dyno. Soon enough though, should be in the 1000+rwhp range with a built block.
It'll be sick power once you got that thing all ironed out. You can see by the graph that baby is just begging to scream harder when it was backed off... no efficiency drop off there.
D, i'll try and get some pics tomorrow...I went 67's, that's part of the reason why they take a little time to come in, but when they do, it's hold on tight...it's fun now breaking traction in 4th (not really, kind of scary actually)
