I think it looks a little to short, other than that nice job.
"Chrysler is expected to show the car as a concept at the show, but insiders suggest the vehicle will be in production as early as 2009 on a new version of the 300C platform."
But why would they wait until 09 to build it??? Who knows where the market will be in three years.
that's the time it will likely take to engineer the thing + let demand for the 300C/Magnum/Charger cool off so that a somewhat "risky" product doesn't eat up production of a car that pretty much sells every example built. Right now only one plant in the world produces the LX cars.

Ah I didnt know only one plant was making that platform.

That's probably as good as it's gonna get folks. The concept Charger came out in what, 1999, and look what it morphed into once it was put into production.
If only they had gotten the Charger to look more like the '68-'71 (two doors of course), then it would be darn near perfect. I was never a big fan of the E-bodies (I liked the earlier Chargers better), but they have really grown on me. This latest concept looks killer, especially with that powertrain combination. Let's see what happens at the Detroit Auto Show!

That looks good but it's all Cuda, there is nothing challenger about that car.

Actually, the "schwing" was for the powertrain: Matching up the 425HP 6.1 with a 6-speed manual. I just posted the picture for what they may have in mind for the Chrysler version. And yes, they have suggested that a Chrysler on this platform wouldn't be far behind. What else could it be? :thumb:

If they call it a chrysler cuda that will be a bad, bad thing.
I agree that engine with a 6-speed would be sweet.
you know what that black one looks more like don't you?
looks more like a 'cuda to me, 71 to be more exact.
Damn you Iacocca!! Where's Our PLYMOUTH line When we need it!!
I for one would like to see a new spin on the RoadRunner
Do you not understand that it's the minor product differentiation across several models and brands that got the big 3 in the position they are now???? What the hell purpose would a new roadrunner serve beyond coming to market with a stupid horn?
