OK , My girl friend picked up a black Charger RT and I have personally put about 200 miles on it. The car is the best 4 door sedan in that price range by far. She has to have a 4 door because she sells real estate and she traded in her mint BMW X5 on the spot after driving the Charger. The car has tons of room inside and stops, turns and goes like crazy. Once you get over the 4 door charger thing and drive it for a while you would agree. I can feel the Mercedes influence when driving. The gauges are sweet and the upgraded stereo is nice, the interior and panel fit is excellent. It is tight and quiet. People stare and comment on it all the time. If I were adding a sedan to my garage , this would be it. I bought another new Hemi Ram on the same day that she picked up the Charger and my Viper will never be sold. The styling grows on you and unless you have some seat time in one then you can't really be objective. The other performance 4 door sedans out there cost twice as much , and face it , if there was not a market for 4 door performance , then Porsche would not be building the Porsche Panamera 4 door. As for the Charger, they look best in black with tinted windows and some aftermarket polished wheels. Mike

Hello everyone,
First off, I would like to apologize for such a delayed response. I was not in the office throughout the week, thus, preventing me from posting for a relatively long time. I hope that Dan was able to address all your concerns accordingly.
viper spray,
It's excellent to hear such positive feedback regarding the '06 Charger. I had a chance to see one in person and I have to say, that the last thing on my mind when I saw the vehicle was that it was a 4-door. Without trying to sound like an advertisement, it was a visually appealing myriad of style, boldness and a strong stance that many vehicles in the sedan segment are struggling to keep up with. I think that the re-invention of this vehicle will leave an indelible mark on the sedan market. Where else are you going to find an American-made sedan that has the ability to offer you 340hp while giving you more than respectable 17mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway? Not to mention that these numbers can be improved depending on your car-care and driving habits. In addition to that, I completely agree with you on your thought that the only way you can be objective about the vehicle is to actually take a ride in it for yourself. That being said, I think I am going to go test drive the one that I got a chance to look at! Let me know if you have any questions regarding this or any other of the other '06 Dodge Chargers.
This would have been a better alternative for those into trucks.
This vehicle was the fastest domestically produced vehicle when it came out.. I guess that's something to pull from... more than a truck version of the first car in NASCAR to achieve 200 mph. Seriously, someone needs to have their ass canned over that one.
Actually, Terry Delong of ProFinish-ProGlass did redesign the Lil' Red Express and Chrysler gave him a Design Award at '03 SEMA for it:

Let me get this straight. You work for Dodge, are hyping the car here as the greatest thing since sliced bread, & you've seen, in person, ONE '06 Charger?

Having had the chance to see only ONE in person, what on earth can you ever tell us, other than a bunch of gobble-dee-gook from the corporate playbook?

$100 says he knows shit all about cars anyway..
Hey Miguel, ask your boss if he wants to hire someone who actually gives a shit about cars and the preservation of the domestic auto industry. I'm availiable in May.
