Got a new toy

I got pissed off reading about all of KRAZY's cars :fist: so I dug deeeeeeeep into my pockets and got myself a......................................Silverado

I was pushing the limits of my 3/4 ton Suburban towing an 8,000 lb. trailer/car/gear so, in light of the recent GM discounts, I got a Silverado 2500HD with the Duramax diesel and Allison trans. Pretty cool truck. I haven't had it for 12 hrs yet but I already have a list of mods that I'm gonna start ordering. I averaged 18.4 mpg on the way home. Not too shabby Chebby.

We just bought a Denali pickup to help pull the boats and jet skis in and out of the water at the cottage!! The FOUR WHEEL STEERING IS AWESOME, it turns on a dime!

I love the concept of 4 wheel steering but it doesn't come on the 3/4 ton or 1 ton trucks. I have a 27' car trailer and 30' boat trailer that are sometimes tricky to maneuver in tight spaces.

I've got a 2500HD with the duramax and the allison...only mine's a Sierra

Pulls great, gets great mileage (comparitively speaking) and is just overall a nice truck.

I can get as low as 18.5 mpg towing my boat, or 29 mpg doing secondary roads. On the open highway, I'll get about 23-24 mpg with the cruise set at 70. :thumb:
