keeeeeep dreamin.
The Vette world is great though. I have seen a few sites where people are just changing these stats where desired.
0-60.. 3.4!
8 piston Front & 6 (poss 8!) Rear piston Brake Calipers!!
500HP/500 Ft Lbs (Really it is closer to 550HP but GM derated it for insurance reason)
Top Speed should be something closer to 210!!
hahahaahahahahahaahahahaahahahahaha great fun though. The landscape would sure be pretty dull without the Corvette.
PS - I have had $1,000 on a C6 Z06 since Oct.... gonna be a great car but come on back down to earth already. The car so many have now "confirmed" would cost closer to $90K then $60K.

Not unlike all the Comp Coupe hyperbole I read here...
All the speculation over the new breeds of American Muscle is exciting.
I joined this site a while ago mostly to see what is going on with the Viper, etc., since I really am a GM / Vette guy, but I like the fact that the Viper is American and considered worldwide as a "killer" machine.
That said, I think you guys owe GM a big Thank You card. I will assume the specs on the new Z06 are correct or close to being correct. So, if GM had not done the new Z06 to this level then DC may have stayed with what they have, and now I am sure DC either has or has plans to top the Z06. Everybody wins.
Although, if the Z06 really has an aluminum frame, dry sump, etc. that should be acknowledged by all car guys as major kick ass. And if at 60 or 70 k what a bargain.
