Not bad. To me the new 5 series looks like the CTS from the side.

That is why it looked oddly familiar.

The M3 is still my favorite, the new 5s just don't do anything for me.

Re: Pics of the new M5
I wish we could get the same hp/liter as the m5. 830hp viper would rock.

That new M5 is one ugly piece of shit. It has too much going on on the exterior. Looks like a bonafide hunk of shit to me.

Re: Pics of the new M5
I don't like the looks of the new M5. But the outgoing M5 is SWEET! If I ever had to buy my own daily driver; it would be a older supercharged M5, I wouldn't even change the rims.
I didn't catch the tq rattings, what are they???

Re: Pics of the new M5
It's just as ugly as every other model they've introduced in the "new look." The last good looking car they have is soon to fall victim to "the look", the 3 Series.
2002/2003 was quite a fork in the road for BMW and Merc. Up until then, they were equals and you really couldn't go wrong either way. Bimmers were a little more of a driver's car and Merc a little nicer/fancier. Merc then began making badass daily drivers with 500hp, big brakes and handling (in both S/C and TT models). BMW on the other hand went to see how confusing the driver interface could be and then beat the shit out of every Series with the biggest ugly-stick known to man.
The new M5 is too little, way too late. And it's fucking ugly to boot.
