Picking up a 98 GTS and Driving From NY to Dallas. Any words of wisdom?

Im buying a Red 98 GTS this Saturday, and driving it From Albany, NY to Detroit, MI and then on to Dallas, TX.. any words of wisdom I should know about driving a viper this far? I have done Detroit to Dallas a few times....

Does anyone know if radar detectors are still illegal in Canada?

yes radar detectors are still illegal in Ontario.

Detroit roads will be the the shit out of the car if you're not careful.

Buy a spare serpentine belt.. Duct tape comes in handy for emergencies as well. Good luck with the trip! :thumb:

Drive extremely fast, the trip seems to be much shorter the faster you go.

Don't pick up hitch hikers

Don't drink the water

stay out of Oklahoma if possible, Frank lives there.

Oh and keep the wheels facing forward when you romp the gas in 1st. I scared the shit out of myself. I ended up doing a 360...yea...it was fun.

The cop fallowed me to my house and gave me a big cognates for not wrecking. The cop owns a viper too...I got lucky.
