Has anyone ordered one the new M5's to match their SRT. I think Bangle's designs are fugly, but I want one of these so bad! [img]/images/graemlins/dude3[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/nana[/img]

Only 368 ft/lbs of tourque, that's where it's going to lose against the Benz.

I've been interested since its concept but saw the 368 torque number and was disappointed as well. Hope they get their V10 right before market time. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Wow - I've been pretty disappointed with the slow evolution of Bangles designs, but this and the Z4 look damned good, IMO. MBZ, to me, has always had a somewhat soulless image/look surrounding it. This M5 is going to be a screamer - you guys honestly think that BMW hasn't done their homework? It has a 7 speed gearbox - say hi to torque multiplication. I severely doubt that the newest M car will be devoured by the E55.
