The more I see it, the more I can't wait for the ZO7/L88 or whatever they call the one that gets twin turbo's or a SC.

I've heard :

ZO7 will debut. 2950lbs range. 650N/A HP
C7 ZR1 will be 2990lbs range w/750+ HP S/C

They're working on Gov. Regulation and have got it handled to goto production.

October 2014 debut of the ZO7.
2015 C7 ZR1 will debut.

I've also heard the ZO7 may be cut out all together.

And I thought my GTS was fast when I got it...It's sad when a car like the Gen2 isn't really that fast anymore :/

a freind of mine owns a BIG gm dealership and confirmed this same info to me a month ago
he has a frnachise for almost every brand and this news has definitley hurt his Viper business

I don't buy because weight hasn't really been announced for the C7, but estimates are around C6-levels or ~3300 lbs. They're not going to cut 350 lbs. out of the a Z07 and especially not 310 out of a ZR1 variant.

And unless GM has a card up their sleeve, I have no idea where they are going to get a motor to meet emissions and make 650 hp NA.

But even if they did a 600 hp, 3100-3200 lbs. Z07 and a 700 hp, 3200-3300 lb. ZR1...that would be very cool.
