2013 SRT Viper Heading to SEMA with Carbon Fiber Goodies

Quote:
Easily one of the highlights of this year's SEMA Show will be a "Morparized" 2013 SRT Viper sporting bright yellow paint and plenty of carbon fiber goodies.

Often customized by owners, Chrysler is looking ahead to the future with its new 2013 model, showcasing some impressive carbon fiber accessories including a full aero package, hood and an X-Brace that is 50 percent lighter than the one used in the factory package.

With no need for added power thanks to the Viper's 640-hp, 6.4-liter V10 engine, added performance comes via Mopar springs to lower the suspension on the optional "Track Pack" hyperblack wheels.

Inside the new Viper gets a black cabin with yellow accents, with Sabelt hard-shell seats and six-point racing harnesses, while added aesthetics come via Mopar billet aluminum control knobs, an aluminum shift knob and pedals.

Plus, there's even an integrated quick-release camera mount for owners who like to track their car and want to record that perfect Hero-cam moment.

"No need for added power" lol. Well maybe for a few owners but I guarantee that most if not all major tuners are working on upgrades from basic intake/exhaust to full on TT setups with Motecs or Pectals.

I agree. A 1000rwhp street car is mandatory to even be mid pack anymore.
